Euro-zone industrial production tumbles in September (by William L. Watts)

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Industrial production across the 15-nation euro zone fell 1.6% in September from the previous month, for an annual drop of 2.4%, the statistical agency Eurostat reported Wednesday. The monthly drop was slightly less than expectations for a 1.8% decline, but the annual fall exceeded expectations for a 1.3% drop.
