LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Euro area GDP fell 0.2% in the second quarter of 2008, data from Eurostat showed Thursday. The first quarter showed growth of 0.7%. Annual GDP growth fell to 1.5% in the second-quarter, from a reading of 2.1% in the first quarter, the statistics agency said.
