Ahh, heck since I usually have the scoop before the general public, I mise well clue them in.

Oh, Obama, has left many of his constitutiuents feel like he has abandon them with his changing opinion.

The truth is that a moratorium that started over 25 yrs ago and been renewed every so many yrs will most likely not be renewed this year. That moratorium stopped drilling in most of the USA for oil.

So Dems have been enjoying pushing alternative fuels to line their precious pockets and of course satisfy their ill informed affiliates that believe in Global warming and oil shortage.

The Republicans have asked Pres. Bush to veto the bill(moratorium) that will be attached to some expenditure bill to keep the government going. The Republicans are promising to back it up and there by shut the government down, if the Dems do not give in. Politics at its finest.

That is actually really late news as it is almost two weeks old now.

Two other things. Pickens, does that ring a bell with you. As you know he has started a website for alternative fuels, especially condoning the ones his companies are heavily involved in. He knows if the federal funds get cut for wind, and natural gas. He is screwed.

Now to the teaser. This Pickens is the same corporate or stock raider in the 80's. He would go and buy cheap stock, take control of the company, then tell management it was closing it down and going to sell the materail assets for a profit if the management did not come up with the difference. This is the man Michael J. Fox made a movie about showing his did not give a damn about workers.

So you know what he is really after here, Feds dollar invested in wind mills and alternative fuels he owns, and cares less about the USA or enviroment.

That is a new twist tho. An Republican helping an Democrats cause.
