LONDON (MarketWatch) -- The European Central Bank on Thursday left its key lending rate unchanged at a record low 1%. The decision was widely expected. ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet's monthly news conference is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Eastern.
