Aug. euro-zone consumer inflation pace eases to 3.8% (by William L. Watts)

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Euro-zone consumer inflation fell back to an annual pace of 3.8% in August from 4% in July, according to a preliminary estimate released Friday by Eurostat. Consensus expectations were for CPI to come in at 3.9%.
